The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe--Chapter Two

 Chapter Two--What Lucy Found There
The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis | tygertale

Lucy after frightening Mr. Tumnus greatly was asked the strangest question of her life. “Are you a
girl?” Now I personally would be weirded out by that, first off what on earth would I be but a girl!?
And secondly WHAT is a Faun!? Then to be further asked if I was in fact Human would be a little
less strange coming from a Faun. It would be quite funny to me to think that a Faun learned
Geography as Mr. Tumnus says later on. Why would a Faun need to learn such things and why on
earth should he know about the way out of Narnia? In fact I’d begin to question Narnia itself! LOL.
But Lucy was a brave young girl with a strong will and desire to help and be kind. So she chose to
keep her mouth shut and listen politely to the Faun. By the time I heard that it was always Winter in
Narnia I would probably find that almost normal. Then being asked to tea by the same Faun would
also become very normal in my mind after such strange events! But then being sold out to an evil
queen that I don’t even know would be slightly terrifying. But Lucy has such a sweetheart and tried to
be so sweet to Mr. Tumnus! I love how gentle and kind she was even though she was frightened
she didn’t begrudge Mr. Tumnus doing his duty by who he took to be the queen.
